As we have mentioned on other occasions, solar panels are one of the most popular sources of clean energy, perhaps due to their modularity and simple installation or due to the fact that solar energy is possibly the best distributed source of energy throughout the world, since even the sunnier southern countries tend to be poorer.

Deserts are large expanses where the Sun shines all day, there are hardly any clouds or precipitation and there are usually very few forms of animal or plant life. According to experts, in just six hours, deserts around the world obtain more solar energy than humans consume in a year, so why aren't deserts covered with solar panels?

Los desiertos son grandes extensiones donde el Sol incide todo el día, no hay apenas nubes ni precipitaciones y suele haber muy pocas formas de vida animal o vegetal. Según los expertos, en solo seis horas, los desiertos de todo el mundo obtienen más energía solar que la consumida por los seres humanos en un año, entonces, ¿porque no se cubren los desiertos con paneles solares?

Although these panels absorb most of the sunlight, they only convert a small part into electricity and the rest is returned to the atmosphere in the form of heat.
