How much time it takes for the light to come from sun to earth?

  What is light?

 Light is electromagnetic radiation that is visible to the human eye. The human eye can see wavelength in the range of 390 to 750 nm. Electromagnetic radiation can be represented as a set of particles called photons. Each photon carries a certain amount of energy.

  The speed of light in the vacuum is the basic natural constant which is:

  c=299 792 458m/s  =  299 792.458km/s

  The distance between the earth and the sun:

The distance between the earth and the sun is changing throughout the year.  3 January , the sun is closest to the earth and has a distance of 147 300 000km. 4 july sun has the largest distance from the earth and it is 152 100 000km.

For the time calculation I will take the longest distance from the sun to the earth.

  a = the longest distance between sun and earth

 C = speed of light

 t = time

  If we divide it by 60, we'll get a minute.

  That's a lot of time.

 If we could travel at the speed of light it would not be enough to explore the universe.

  Neptune is the farthest planet from the sun. The neptun is 4 540 000 000km away from the sun. Light from the sun is traveling to, 4.2 hours.

 To travel with the universe and explore it, it is necessary to go faster than the light.
