Technology and scientific inventions is a core component of the human experience and sincerely speaking, science and technology has made life easier and its still going to be more easier the more with scientific inventions.
Here are some of the major scientific advancements in the year 2017.
- SOLAR PANEL ROAD: We were still talking about solar panel roofs and here we have solar panel roads (roads made up of solar panel), which is covered in a silicon based resins that can withstand the weight of passing big rigs and can generate enough electricity to power the street lights also. This is just the beginning as they may probably seem not to be efficient right now.
- SPHERICAL TYRES: Spherical tyres allows cars to move in many directions which includes sideways into a parallel parking space and at different specific angles and speeds.
Goodyear has updated its spherical tyres for self-driving cars by adding a "bionic skin" sensors that reads the road and adapts to suit different terrains.
- OCEAN CLEANUP: This is a device made up of floating beams and platforms. It was designed to clean up the plastic garbage in the ocean. It has a passivity principle guiding it and rather than chasing trash all over the sea. It just harnesses the ocean currents and wind patterns that circulate plastics naturally.
- THE SAFETY TRUCK: It's a system that its ideas sounds so simple that you might ask that why no one came up with it before as it relays video footage from the front of a truck to atleast 4 screens on its back. this is a must scientific invention that should be adopted in many countries with winding and narrow roads.
- VERTICAL GARDENING: This is not just only a decoration and a source of oxygen. When installed outside, it processes heavy metals, it filters harmful gases and also catches the dust. When installed inside, they can be used as a real farm to grow herbs or simple veggies.
