Richard Dawkins embarases himself on live television

So Richard Dawkins is advocating ridiculing Christians, or persecuting Christians along with any other religious people on the grounds that their beliefs are unfounded, unprovable, foolish and counterproductive, and so he calls them very unintelligent people on a live BBC television program in discussion with a Vicar.

He says the average Christian does not know the name of the first book of the New Testament or names of the gospels and that they clearly do not really believe the things they claim to.

The Vicar responds with the question : "you are an erudite atheist " to which Dawkins responds in the affirmative. The Vicar goes on the to say : "so your favourite book is 'The origin of species', right ? " and gets another affirmation.

The Vicar then asks : " Can you give me the full title of the Book ?", to which Dawkins replies, "Yes I can" and The Vicar says, "go ahead then" and Dawkins says "The origin of species .... um, Oh God ..." and cannot provide the answer.

The Vicar then says, " Well if you were to ask people who believe in evolution that question and 2% got it right then we might say that they do not really believe in evolution, and it therefore simply isn't fair to ask people these questions."

Ravi Zacharias, in a program of his own (below) points out the gall of the man to ridicule Christians for not knowing the names of some parts of the Bible, while he cannot give us the title of his favourite and most important book.

Ravi says, sarcastically : "The ultimate proof of the sovereignty and omnipotence of God is that it even takes an Atheist who doesn't believe in Him to call upon Him to remind him of the title of the book to help him deny Him.

For all his seeming brilliance, his education and his eloquence with the English language, he really is ... , well lets just say a harsh judge of others while going easy on himself. That is aside from being really gullible, so as to fail to see that physics, chemistry, biology, paleontology, archaeology, geology and history, actually testify that original cause is not the material world, gravity or happenstance but intelligence, wielding power beyond our ken.

He is also a rich man, at the expense of the many millions he influences with his Militant Atheist Rhetoric.
