15 Lines Knowledge : Why Do We Cook Meat ?
_ In nowadays when we talk about FIRE most people likely to think of the heat or the burning sensation but if we talk about fire during stone age period it means more than that. Our ancestor learned how to created fire million years ago and we could say that FIRE is what makes us human today.
During stone age period at sometime our ancient human ancestor aka Homo Erectus become the first ever Firebender of animal kingdom. Our ancestor had always known about FIRE because fires happened naturally when there were lightning strikes or sparks from two rocks hitting together and the invention of FIRE also known as the greatest invention of our species of all time, During that time they used this thing called FIRE to keep themselves warm throughout the time of cold climate plus it's also a great tool to keep the predators away from their territory, And at the same time FIRE had turn our species from weakly low life prey into top high-end predator ( Hunter ) of the world.
Fire enable us and stone age ancestor to do what other species couldn't. Fire also has alot of useful potential in it, In the past before knew how to create fire human ancestor used to eat raw food but after they knew how to create fire everything started to change, They realized that when apply the heat to meat it become much easy to chew on mean less time on chewing and delicious than Raw stuffs also cooked meat is easier to digest than raw meat. Like ancient people said once you try cooked food you'll never go back to raw food.
Nevertheless, they were never realize that there are much more benefit of cooked food than they ever thought about. When they cooked the meat they also washed off the contamination and most types of food poisoning including virus and bacteria that could make people ill if eaten Raw.
As of today, Unlike in the stone age period that cook food just to make it edible, In these day as people have more knowledge of cooking they cook food to improve the taste of the food, To enhance the appearance of the food, To change the texture and To increase the shelf life of the food. Making the food become more like Art. Roasting, boiling, steaming, grilling, baking, frying, broiling, deep-frying, poaching, braising, stewing, simmering, smoking, You name it. These are method of cooking that make food more enjoyable and it will also increasing as the world become more advanced.
