Cetus Duo M77 and NGC 1055

The large spiral galaxy in the upper right corner of the photo is named NGC 1055, with another galaxy named Messier 77. Both galaxies are located in the Cetus Terramond. NGC 1055 is about a million light years. It was first discovered by astronomer Sir William Herschel on December 19, 1783. The galaxy was created about 10 billion years ago. Its distance from Earth is about 47 million light years.
On the other hand Messier 77 or M77 is 60 million light years away from the Earth. The other name is NGC 1068. Seyfert galaxy is a very active black hole in the center of this galaxy. Its diameter is about 5 lakh light years.
