RE: One cigarette may tempt you to smoke daily
I was a smoker for 20 years ( from 12yrs old- to 32) , and I quit 3 months ago!
I am french so smoking has been embedded in my culture, it reminds me of late afternoons in the south of France with a glass a wine(how cliche, I know). As an "Expat" it was the last connection that i have with my beloved country.
The hardest part is to break away from the habit of smoking, the nicotine addiction wears off after 2 days.
If you really want to smoke something , you can try herbal mix, made with mullein, damiana, rose, catnip, or peppermint, you name it! There is a whole world of plants out there that can be smoked and helps with the recovery process during nicotine withdrawals with less harmful consequences.
Remember that any form of smoking is bad for you , it's carbon monoxide after all.
For those prone to anxiety, and live in a country that allow you to, you can vape medical marijuana too , it works as an expectorant and has vasodilatating effects that will help clear the phlegm accumulated while smoking tobacco.
I didn't even want to comment and here I am writing an essay...
thank you very much for sharing with us your story about smoking, i agree with you in every words u said, Smoking is a very bad habit as i dont call it addiction, since we can live without it so i would never consider it as an addiction, smoke can control u, and let u to be someone else except u.
Am soo happy that u quit, and God bless you for sharing with us your experience with this bad habit.
