The Earth is not flat. It is a ball that bulges slightly in the middle. This is only because any mass large enough naturally becomes this shape. We have evidence by the lack of flat planets that we can see, like the moon, mars mercuryol, pluto, io, europa, etc. None of these are flat, neither is the Earth.
