Desde muy niño escuche la leyenda de el " REY DAVID", tanto en radio como en televisión, así como a través de los representantes de la iglesia católica llámese sacerdote, monja o catequista, siempre contaban una historia fantástica de un joven delgado y pequeño que con una honda y una piedra había derrotado a un gigante malvado y despiadado que aterrorizaba al pueblo de Dios (la historia de David y Goliat), que luego llego a ser un rey bueno y bondadoso que gobernó por muchos años al pueblo Judio, ademas que de su descendencia nacería el hijo de Dios es decir NUESTRO SEÑOR JESUCRISTO. Por muchos años admire a ese noble rey, por lo menos cuarenta años, hasta que en unas vacaciones de agosto del año 2015 me puse a leer la biblia desde el génesis hasta el apocalipsis y me di cuenta de 3 grandes mentiras judias sobre esta leyenda:
1.- Que David era un joven delgado y pequeño, esta version se desmiente facilmente cuando leemos el capitulo 9 y 17 de Samuel "9:1 Había un varón de Benjamín, hombre valeroso, el cual se llamaba Cis, hijo de Abiel, hijo de Zeror, hijo de Becorat, hijo de Afía, hijo de un benjamita.
9:2 Y tenía él un hijo que se llamaba Saúl, joven y hermoso. Entre los hijos de Israel no había otro más hermoso que él; de hombros arriba sobrepasaba a cualquiera del pueblo. "

Esta descripcion de el Rey Saul nos indica que era un hombre muy alto y de gran fuerza, por lo cual uno se pregunta como un rey seria capaz de exponer su reino a un joven debil como se supone era David; capitulo 17 "17:4 Salió entonces del campamento de los filisteos un paladín, el cual se llamaba Goliat, de Gat, y tenía de altura seis codos y un palmo.

Si leen bien la respuesta de Saul, el nunca dijo que David era pequeño, solo dijo que era joven y sin experiencia en combate, y la respuesta de David fue que el podia tomar a un leon o un oso por la mandibula y matarlo, eso indica que era un hombre grande y de mucha fuerza.
2.-Que era un rey bueno y bondadoso: en realidad David era un guerrero despiadado que asesinaba hombres, mujeres y niños, asi como no respetaba mujer ajena "27:7 Fue el número de los días que David habitó en la tierra de los filisteos, un año y cuatro meses.
27:8 Y subía David con sus hombres, y hacían incursiones contra los gesuritas, los gezritas y los amalecitas; porque éstos habitaban de largo tiempo la tierra, desde como quien va a Shur hasta la tierra de Egipto.
