The Last Secret of Leonardo

I told you in my last post that I went to the quest, but I didn’t tell you that the quest was about Leonardo Da Vinchi. We, actually, have to solve the last riddle of the great master.

This quest made me to search and explore some other riddles of Leonardo and also to read about Leonardo Da Vinchi’s life.

And now I want to tell you about the things, which I’ve read:

1. Inventions

Leonardo Da Vinchi made the first auto-machine gun, it was a construction with many barrels. It could shots in a few minutes and it could be very useful against infantry forces.
In 1447 was made the first bicycle, it was made of wood and had the leather “belt”( instead of modern chain on bicycle). Also, the great master always wanted to fly. So, it is thought that Leonardo Da Vinchi invented the parachute and drew it in his journal.


Leonardo Da Vinchi invented the costume in which people could dive.



The first armored fighting vehicle (tank) was also invented by Leonardo Da Vinchi.


2. Secrets

The most famous secret of the Great Master is his painting “Mona Lisa” or “La Gioconda”. Many scientists are trying to find the answer, which would explain the mystical smile. Some scientist think that the woman on the painting didn’t have teeth and others think that the smile changes because of the psychological safety of the people who look at it.

The other mystery is the writings in the journal. Da Vinchi was left-handed and many of his notes were written from right to the left, and his hand-writing was awful, when he was young, but then his hand-writing got better and some scientists think that they could guess the meaning of his notes. But Leonardo Da Vinchi encrypted all his notes to make people to solve his secrets step by step.
