RE: Understanding Brain Aging

in #science7 years ago

After the age of 25 major changes happen to our brain. Our reward system is most active when we are teenagers. By the age of 25, it gradually drifts back to its normal functioning. This means that 25-year old (or older) adults tend to feel less anxious and be capable to control their impulses, while younger ones would struggle with impulsive decisions and fail to control their behaviour to achieve their goals.

I did feel the differences. Great article @dysfunctional.

Wow, did you really ? I am curious, cause I turn 25 in 5 months :D

Well, I'm 26 now and I certainly felt the difference compared to when I'm 24 or 25.

Looking forward to it then :D
