Graphene: Not Just A Blockchain Ecosystem
Graphene is well-known across the Steemit community for being the revolutionary blockchain ecosystem that powers the Steem blockchain. However, I have noticed many Steemians are unaware of another revolutionary Graphene that is becoming increasingly popular among the most important industries across the planet.
It is a material called Graphene and is just as revolutionary as the Graphene blockchain technology that rivals Ethereum and Bitcoin.
Graphene is one of the most highly sought after substances in many Research & Development (R&D) industries such as aerospace, aviation, medicine, defense, and energy. Currently it is used in sensors, electronics, membrane applications, sensors, and in coatings and composites.
So what the heck is this legendary substance Graphene?
It's high tech lineage can be traced back to one of the most non-tech items out there, the pencil.
Pencils the tools we use to write down those epic, random ideas down is actually made up of Graphene. It is the millions of very thin layers that are stacked together to form the graphite in your pencil.
Being studied since 1947, Graphene has literally been sitting in front of us this entire time for us to use, we just never realized the full potential of it beginning in 2004.
So what makes Graphene so legendary and one of the substances that will benefit humanity the most in the future?
Just listen to the following features and benefits:
it is the lightest material on planet Earth AND one of the strongest. Graphene is 100-200x stronger than Steel. Let me say that again. It is 200x stronger than steel yet it is 1 million times thinner than a human hair. Are you starting to see which it is such a revolutionary material
it is the most conductive material on Earth. Graphene acts as an epic conductor of electricity, hence it's heavy applications in electronics and power sources.
it is the first 2D material on Earth. Not 3D, 4D, Graphene is literally two-dimensional. As a result, scientists and R&D departments can do previously unimaginable experiments creating all new fields of study.
it is extremely stretchable, flexible, and impermeable. The impermeble nature of Graphene is what is making it extremely attractive to the bio tech and medical fields because of its controlled drug and medicine delivery applications.
So let me recap, Graphene is light, thin, strong, flexible, conductive, transparent, impermeable, and 2D.
Does that not sound like the most revolutionary material on planet Earth?
As you can see, the features, benefits, and applications of Graphene are absolutely incredible and will truly transition this world into the future where high-tech transport and boundless energy are staples of society.
I have been working on Graphene-based ideas for about five (5) years now and they keep on coming. Curious to see what the Steemit community knows about Graphene and what applications they can use in this actual community.
Imagine the Steem platform powered by the Graphene ecosystem which is powered by Graphene, the material.
If I were you I would do a deep dive on Graphene as I have a feeling it will change your life just as much as it did for me.
Stay tuned to more posts about Graphene and science-related posts to find out what revolutionary ideas and materials will be apart of this new chapter on Earth we are entering.
Thank you as always for your time and attention.

Great post. And the most impressive I think about graphene is its simple structure with just carbons. Carbons are impressive indeed. They can form coal, diamonds, graphene.
Thank you buddy. And right isn't incredible how powerful something can be but be so simple. I am going to do the next post on its structure and and then another post on how to make it :)
Thanks for your time and attention I really appreciate it :)
great info - i had never heard what it was and thanks for explaining - am now following you in support
thank you really appreciate it buddy :)
@chiefmappster
Good content
Keep sharing good posts!
Thank you I really appreciate that :)

Ayyyyyy I like that thank you for sharing :)
Sure man!
:)
Thank you for that informative post my friend. I love it how Steemit teaches me step by step about topics I never imagined to get my feet into.
Being now in China I get to know so much yet unknown technology and I am already impressed by how innovative things are here. Looking forward to see how Graphene will change and improve the future :)
Absolutely my friend I am glad you got some value out of it. O wow and yeah if you become the Graphene guy in China holy smokes watch out haha.
Looking to how being China affects you buddy. I have a feeling its going to take you to a whole new level
This is a really well written post explaining graphene. I look forward to the next installments.
Thank you so much I really appreciate your words :) I am very passionate about Graphene and how it can cause real, positive change.
Thanks again for your time and attention :)
