NASA // Next Mission to the Planet Mars
Hello to all this great community in this opportunity I am going to show you the next mission that NASA has with the planet Mars.
The mission that calls itself InSight will have to make a first exhaustive checkup since the planet began to form four thousand 500 million years ago. Some of the scientists who are doing the great Insight mission say that this mission will be launched in the month of May of this year, it is expected that by studying the deep interior of the red planet, it will be possible to know how other worlds tend to form .
But even though our Earth and the planet Mars were apparently molded from the same material that is primordial more than four billion years ago, it ended up being really very different, this situation that is expected to be resolved from the data of the InSight mission.
This according to the US space agency tends to compare the inside of the two planets, the results after these studies are conducted could greatly help the search for exoplanets that are similar to the Earth, and reducing which could harbor life.
NASA experts detailed that the mission will have to perform the first comprehensive checkup since when the planet was formed 4,500 million years ago, (seismology), temperature (heat flow) and its reflexes (radio science).
The InSight mission will have to study the movement underground on the planet Mars, this through a seismometer that will have to be placed directly on the Martian surface, this will provide much cleaner data.
Otherwise all launches that are interplanetary NASA will have to be made from Florida, InSight will be launched from the Vandenberg Air Base in California, the first to another planet from the west coast.
The rocket that will have to launch to InSight, is a project led by the Jet Propulsion Laboratory of NASA, beyond our Earth they will also do it with two mini spacecraft that are called Mars Cube One, or MarCO.
These CubeSats are the size of a suitcase this will have to fly on their own way to the planet Mars behind the main mission, this to retransmit some data as they can enter the atmosphere and Martian lands.
