I really enjoy hard information (presented in an easily-digestible manner) about obscure subjects I know nothing about. And I'm happy to see this kind of basic science research being done. It doesn't matter if at this point we have little idea how it might be useful. Who knows what kinds of useful things might come out of this knowledge.
