RE: Like The Sims, real life is coded by humans
I'm not quite sure what the point of this post is, but the bit about Jesus "logging off" wouldn't exactly sit well with classic theology. Since the Bible says he ascended into heaven to sit at the right hand of the Father and that he makes intercession for the saints right now, it would appear that this analogy would better be illustrated by saying he left his computer logged on but controls it from another device connected to the cloud.
In that case he would be a different user. Like a community director, a moderator, a fellow researcher, player one following a backstory or even just player two.
On the other hand, he might be part of a director AI meant to guide our developments or some predefined NPC from a triggered world event unlocked in a NewGame+ round.
EDIT: Oh and the point of this post is to elaborate on this post explaining how our universe really might be a simulation by @cryptogee.
Different user? Logged into the same account?
Okay, I'll have to go and read that original post. Thanks.
Did you get a chance to read the original post?
Yes, and I left a comment.
