This conversation examines the definition of the scientific method and the assumptions that are made in its application. In our society many consider science as the primary or even the only way of accessing meaningful truth. In reality, there are important limitations on the scientific method that have a significant impact on our worldviews. Unfortunately, this isn't an area that gets covered in the standard course of education, but with a bit of determined critical thinking we can all strengthen our perspectives on this critical subject.
