Solar streetlights project

The diagram is a pictorial front view of a palace in Ghana, Kenyasi. During the night, the palace is very dark as a result of insufficient light to illuminate the place. As energy engineer, together with my colleagues, we have proposed a solar street light project which will help to illuminate the palace during the night. Solar energy is a renewal energy which is inexhaustible. It drives it energy from the sun and make good use of it during the night. The energy drived from the sun is stored in a battery. This energy stored in the battery is used during the night when the sun is not shining. Solar energy has a life span of 25 years. It is very cheap at long run. With solar, you are free from power crisis. Even if the sky is cloudy, there is a possibility of light rays. Since energy is the basic necessity for every country, there is the need to shift our attention to solar energy

But... how is it possible that solar lights - which need sunlight - work at night when there is no sunlight?^^

Since you're new on Steemit, here are some tips I give to newbies when I see them:

never just copy a text or publish a photo/video without explanation. Always add some text and never forget to add an image to a text.
Never steal an article and if you quote something or re-publish one of your own articles from somewhere else, always add a link to the source.
Always use all 5 tags for more visibility.

this is another stats site where you can see your reputation and what to do to climb up the ladder. (commenting other posts is very important).
there is even a help site for Steemit where you can find explanations for the site's functionalities
I wrote a post with an explanation of the most important Steemit vocabulary.
if you want somebody to read your article or follow your conversation, mention their username (don't forget the @).
commenting other posts is very important because you get "curation rewards" which means Steem Dollar from the pot for the article as a reward for the interaction.

A lot of votes on steemit come from bots that you (or others) can pay for a vote. Depending on the bot, you end up with more $$ than you had before.
All bots work pretty much the same way: You go to your wallet and click on the little arrow next to the Steem Dollar amount. Then click on transfer, fill in the name and the amount and add as memo the URL to the article for which you want an upvote. Very simple.
Here is a site where you can compare the performance of difference upvote bots.
There are also resteem bots, but I don't find them too useful and don't know which one is good.
Be careful with your password and watch out for scamming attempts. Several big accounts got stolen and now they try to lure others into giving away their password by posting comments with links to fishing sites.
you have several different passwords. Whenever you have to use a password and it is not stated differently, use the active key and as little as possible your owner key! The latter is the big key to your account and if that is gone, you account is gone.

Solar street works in the night because during the day some of the energy is stored in a battery. Available energy stored in the battery is used during the night

What kind of batteries do you plan to built in, is it going to be the Li-Ion by Tesla with that powerwall or are there more suitable solutions out there? If you have 20 lights with 500W and you need power for 6h daily, the battery pack will have the size of an electric car, I imagine.. (200,5KWh6h=60KWh). And will there be a diesel generator in case the sun won't shine for a few days?

The streelights is a set together with the battery. At times the batteries are in build. In case of a rooftop solar system I can decide the type of battery I will use. Li-ion batteries by Tesla is very good one. In sizing of the battery, we have a term called days of autonomy. For example, depending on the customer , I can use 3 days autonomy which means if there is a continuous rain for 3 days there would be supply of energy. 3 days of auntonomy has more battery capacity as compared to 1 day of autonomy. As I said earlier in my post, even if the sky is cloudy still there would be light rays . In case of industries since the demand of energy is high, diesel generator can be added to prevent inconveniences. Solar energy does not pollute the atmosphere. It's environmental friendly unlike fossils fuels (diesel) which pollutes the atmosphere
