In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.

No hypocrisy there, then! TED Talks can be amusing and a quick way to delve into a new topic, but it is deeply entrenched in mainstream propaganda. A list of all "banned TED talks" makes a fascinating collection of the sciences moving too close to private corporate knowledge.
