IMCC – BED: A learning environment, a second home, an institution where I belong
Being a student, you are told to stay and to dedicate yourselves into learning, and it is done inside the four walls of your campus. Now, I want to share my experience in my so-called second home “Iligan Medical Center College – Basic Education Department”.
I spent almost 9 months in this school and although it was somehow short still I was able to make memories, build new connection, and learn new knowledge or information. My 1st day with this school was really memorable because it immediately gave me an impression that this school would be able to transform me into something new, something complete. The first teacher I encountered was Sir Janrel H. Fernando. He was a Philosophy teacher and our adviser but for me he’s more than that because he is my friend, consultant, psychologist, book supplier, and he is like my second father.
This is my picture along with sir Janrel
After a few weeks Sir Janrel introduced me the club “Ubermensch Society” which I will tackle in my next blog. This club opened doors of opportunity for me as a student. Ubermensch Society is filled with smart, talented, and creative students. That’s why I really tried to improve myself in a short span of time so I can go along with my co-members. In this club I improved my debating skills, articulation, time management, and this club is my biggest confidence booster. Hopefully I can talk about it in my next blogs.
The experiences I had in this school is quite vast for it to be discussed in just one blog so I will end it here for now and I will continue sharing it to you in my next blog.
Thank you very much for putting some of your precious time in reading my blog.
