The Scary Boat Ride

This is a real life event which took place somewhere in Lagos, Nigeria on Sunday, March 18th, 2018. I decided to go for a photo-shoot for my soon to be released single, "WAY UP, STAY UP"... On getting to the location with my team we realized we needed to board a speedboat which would take us across the water to the beach. We boarded a small speedboat which took us to the island of Ijeti beach after a brief photo session, we boarded another small speedboat to return and before we left the shores of the beach, the boat was already overloaded with goods of a passenger. We complained about the heavy loads which obviously weighed down the speedboat and affected its balance on water. We took off and in the middle of nowhere, it became obvious that our boat wasn't balanced. This was really a terrifying moment for us all as we all tried to use our weight to balance the boat by leaning towards an opposite direction when the boat seemed to be drifting towards another direction. I found myself saying a prayer asking God for forgiveness promising never to return to the beach ever again..

God answered my prayer and we managed to get to our destination without our boat capsizing. It was truly a SCARY BOAT RIDE.
