Striae Distensae (stretch marks) Treatment

Part of my profession includes writing for medical journals. I cover many types of skin issues and their treatments. A very common skin issue in women & men is stretch marks. These are often caused by a gain or loss of weight, pregnancy, etc. Below is an example of an article I recently co-authored. It is a recently updated "uptodate" manual on the latest science and treatment on stretch marks.

The below photos are before & after three, multi-laser/combo treatment sessions. We used a vascular laser to reduce the redness of the stretch marks & stimulate the collagen in the skin. Then we used a fractional resurfacing laser to rebuild the collagen, tighten the skin, and blend everything together. The results are pretty incredible!
