Trojanware Containing the "Joker" Virus Have Been Found in Google Play Again - It Can Rob You!

Downloading from the Google Play Store (and Apple) is something people love to do. Why not? Lots of choices, many of which are free, and offering functions you'd die to have on your phone.

Unfortunately, criminals know that, so they create trojanware - programs that have the functions that are often sought after so that you won't delete it. Criminals can look at search results to see what's trending, then design them to trick you. The programs will sometimes be better than legitimate apps but, hidden inside the program you've come to love is malicious coding that can do any number of things.

This can lead to being infected by viruses, worms, rootkits and other types of malware that can do things like: log all your keystrokes, activate your microphone and/or camera, search for private information, capture secret information (e.g. passwords, ID numbers, bank account info), steal data, lock your entire computer up and then demand a big fee to restore it or they'll delete it all, watch what you do (some or all activities), use your computer without you knowing it, and even allow them to take full control of it.

Since 2017, the "Joker" virus has been found in Android trojanware apps. It is back again now. Google does what it can to prevent this, but the AIs can only catch some of them. It takes humans to catch the rest - if they can. Worse yet, the new Joker has the ability to access your credit union/bank/credit card account and subscribe you to things (which I would assume are connected to the criminals), ultimately draining your credit union/bank/credit card accounts. You can get rid of Joker
