Progress? STEEM has fallen to catastrophically low prices. Nothing significant has changed.

I'm a counterforce to those who are desperately trying to hype up this failed experiment. There are people who dumped thousands into this only to lose it all. This community is dead, and only vigilantes enforce Steem community mores, there was never even a proper attempt at creating a self policing system. Those with power can destroy a user at will with their horde of STEEM Power. There is no protection for the little man. Steemit is a dictatorship organization due to its enormous wealth of STEEM that it has had since as soon as the ecosystem was launched. At any time they could abuse this power.
There was never a proper creation of the upper class, instead there is a massive plutocracy at the top who's relatively minor movements can violently sway the entire market.
There was never an algorithm to inherently protect the ecosystem from bots and other entities which eliminate the merit system in favor of corruption.
I'm sorry but Steem is a dying beast, it was born into this world in the wrong way.
The only thing I can do now is try to recover my investment, and warn people as well, what little voice I do have.
