RE: CREATION OF SUSTAINABLE FAMILY ORCHARDS THROUGH THE "GREEN FOOTPRINT" CAMPAIGN
Orchards and family farms can be successful activities, to the extent that a greater number of family members contribute to their development. In cases where the woman assumes the greatest responsibility, there is a guarantee that the food produced will be primarily for the family, but care must be taken not to overload the many responsibilities that she already develops both inside and outside the home. In any case, it is recommended that the training and technical assistance activities provided for the development of gardens and farms always include women among the participants.
