THE HIGH PRIEST
The second word of encouragement for us to maintain our trust, besides never hearing the lies of the devil, is this: We must be totally sure that our High Priest takes care of us, and that we have full access to his throne.
Therefore, having a great high priest who pierced the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, Let's keep our profession. Because we do not have a high priest who can not sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who was tempted in everything according to our likeness, but without sin. Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, in order to obtain mercy and find grace for the opportune help.
Hebrews 4: 14-16

We have been invited to enter the throne room of the Sovereign of the universe. He knows what we have gone through, what we are going through now and what awaits us. "There is no created thing that is not manifest in his presence; rather, all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give an account "(Hebrews 4:13). The Lord is waiting for us to approach him freely, taking everything that worries us.
He himself has experienced what we are going through, and he is compassionate, loving, full of mercy and willing to help us in our time of need. Is this your moment of need? Do you know that He is available at any time? It is not necessary to say: "I have to go to my house and get into my secret room to enter the room of the throne of God. "The throne is available to us at any time and place. God invites us to enter his throne with freedom, without reservation, with full confidence that He will respond, in that He will always keep his word. We do not have to explain anything.
We can simply kneel before Him and say boldly: "Christ, you know what I am going through. I can not express it with words. But you have also passed this; So, please, help me! "
We live by promises, not by what we see. If we want to be faithful to God, we can not sit and feed our doubts. Rather, we have to encourage ourselves day by day in the Lord, dealing with the lack of faith, and saying: "Lord, I will not give up!"
We must reject the lies of the devil and build our faith on the Word of God: "But you, beloved, edifying yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God "(Jude 20-21).
@opibarker, For this reason he is the perfect mediator, who offered himself, once and for all, as a sacrifice for sin, and opened a new and living path that leads us to the presence of God. A path that required only one and sufficient sacrifice, once and forever. We can see how many times, the author to the Hebrews reminds us.
Christ would bear our sins once and forever.
