Life is like a mirror
Psalm 34: 18-19
The Lord is near the brokenhearted,
and save those with a dejected spirit.
19 Many are the anguish of the righteous,
but the Lord will deliver you from all of them.
The mirror is an object that we use to look at ourselves and we constantly do it, we look at ourselves in the mirror and ask, how have the years passed? Well, the mirror has a lot to tell us.
I want to share this reflection of Mahatma Gandhi who stated the following:
Life has taught me that people are kind, if I am kind; that people are sad, if I'm sad; that everyone loves me, if I love them; that all are bad, if I hate them; that there are smiling faces, if I smile; that there are bitter faces, if I am bitter; that the world is happy, if I am happy; that people are angry, if I am angry; that people are grateful, if I am grateful.
Life is like a mirror: If I smile, the mirror returns my smile. The attitude I take in front of life is the same as life will take before me.
"Whoever wants to be loved, who loves".
You are simply what is really inside of you, and what you sow that same will reap because life gives it back to you.
When you stand in front of the mirror to look at your physical condition, reflect also on what is inside you, that only you and God can look at.
God gives us opportunities but life is only one, and opportunities go with it, for what God offers us today we can not leave for tomorrow.
We were born and grew up and with it the years go by. When I was a child, I did not think that the years go by and that life is only one, that the child you were a day will never be again.
The years do not pass in vain, sometimes we want to return the time, but that is impossible. Certainly there are times when things do not turn out as we want and life hits us, but God is always calling us to rebuild our dreams.
Life is like a mirror and if we apply meaningless things, life will return it to us.
Many times we are distressed and depressed by the time lived and we feel that nothing is worth it, because time has passed and the opportunities have gone, but God loves you so much that He still keeps calling your heart to give you an opportunity to live. a life with meaning
life brings back everything we reflect and is like a mirror.
Excellent message @opibarker. Certainly a mirror reflects what is in front of it simply because that is its function. Human beings are similar; we reflect what we see, and for the believers, reflect represents a very specific application.
In 2 Corinthians 3:18 a very powerful secret regarding the Christian life is mentioned:
Therefore, we all, looking with unveiled face as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed from glory to glory in the same image, as by the Spirit of the Lord.
This verse compares us with mirrors that when we are discovered, we look and reflect the glory of the Lord.
