Presence of God

>“Be still, and know that I am God " (Psalm 46:10)

If someone ever had an encounter with God, he knows what he is talking about when he talks about entering the presence of God, experiencing his glory and presence. It is something that is totally out of your control, not in the sense that you are out of control, but it is the moving of God, not yours. You are suspended in the amazement of its manifestation.

It is not the same as praying: "Thank you Father for this and that" or reading the Bible (things you do for your moving) but it is the moving of God in you. Surely our actions are those that invite God to manifest to our life, but when He manifests, our manifestation is very behind and He rises above everything.

In my experience, some of the times we talk about the presence of God in a cult, it was all made by man, within a human stereotype of what the presence of God is, but, although it could have been something good, it ceased to be a human manifestation, not a divine one.

The risk of this is to end up believing that this human manifestation "is" the glory of God. Why? Because as we continue to say "glory, glory" in the face of human manifestation, we will continue to be blind, unable to cry out and open ourselves to God to truly receive the joy of his presence. We must call things by their names; the manifestation of man is the manifestation of man, and the manifestation of God is the manifestation of God, and both are very different, as different as man and God are.

Why is not the glory of God manifested among us? We sing, we pray, we pray but his glory does not manifest, in reality hearts were not pierced, it was a good time, but a product of human power, that's where it started and that's where it ended. And we ask ourselves: is it permissible to cry out for his presence and glory? Is not it something that belongs to Him to determine? Are we not being proud when we try to tell God "now manifest your glory here"?

I believe that it is the will of God to manifest his glory among his people, always, whenever the conditions are met. And I also believe that it is licit to cry out for his glory with a longing heart that is not the same as an anxious heart. If he manifested his glory to Moses, his servant, when he asked him expressly (Exodus 33:18: "I beg you to show me your glory"); If he did it with his people day and night through the desert, he should be more so with his children. We were created to praise the glory of his grace (Ephesians 1: 6,12,14).

@lisbethperez961, to be in the presence of God is one of the most extraordinary things in life to have an encounter with the author of life is incredible that has been the will of God for man to show him his glory so that they can live a full life.
