Jesus the true vine - the importance of bearing fruit
John 15:5I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. |
The true vine is called Jesus Christ, because the vine refers to the base of the tree, of a plant that produces wine. You have to make the decision of where you are going to connect. If you connect with a religion, you are not connected to the true vine, there is no other way to connect with the true vine that is not Jesus. Its connection can not be with a doctrine or a norm, it must be with someone who has life and life in abundance: Jesus.
Seek, know and love Jesus, He is enough to fix your heart and your life. He is the true vine, then how to grow, to abide in Jesus. It is not being close to Jesus, but being connected to his will, to know his desires. You can be a good evangelical religious, but not a Christian, a disciple of Jesus without being connected to the vine.
How sad it is when you came to Jesus, you learned the doctrine and then you became dry and lifeless because you separated yourself from Jesus, like the flower that fell from its root. Jesus never said he would send us to hell, he came to give us life and life in abundance.
He who believes in Jesus will be saved, there is no obstacle to salvation. The separation of Jesus has caused great obstacles to arise between Him and the people. There must be a change in the churches.
John 15: 1: "I am the true vine, and my Father is the farmer."
Jesus does not need another worker other than the Father, he is the only one who can cut and water each branch, that is, the Father who is the farmer.
The branch must remain in Jesus and the vine recognizes that there can be no separation between the branch and the vine. If the branch is separated from the vine, neither the branch nor the vine produces fruit. What there is is death and desolation, it is dangerous to be separated from Jesus by a dogma or a religion.
John 15: 4: "Remain in me and I in you, as the branch can not bear fruit by itself, if it does not remain in the vine, neither can you, if you do not abide in me."
Jesus is saying: "Abide in me and I in you." That is the reason why there are so many believers who have not achieved an advance of the Kingdom of God and much less for the people who remain at the feet of Jesus.
It does not matter how many stones you throw at the tree that bears fruit; The tree that bears fruit will always attract people. It does not matter how you look if that is the tree that God uses to bless you. Do not let Satan come to tell you that you do not serve or that you can not do it, because you are a fruitful branch.
Maybe, this year is not as perfect as you want, maybe you continue to struggle with your weaknesses, but I assure you that those weaknesses will be an obstacle for you to know Jesus. At the end of this year you will have fruits, Jesus will not point out your weaknesses, but will congratulate you for your fruits.
OUR INTENTION IS TO BLESS YOUR LIFE WITH OUR REFLECTIONS AND BRING THE GOSPEL TO ALL THE CREATURES
Well said @predicator. It does not matter how many stones it throws at the tree that bears fruit; The tree that bears fruit will always attract people. We have been called to bear good fruit.
