GOD'S WILL
Source
It is said that a good woman, who fell ill, was asked if she wanted to die or live, to which she replied:
-Whatever God wants.
-But –said one of those present–, if God left him at your will to decide what would you choose?
-Oh, if God would let me choose I would let him decide again. What an attitude worthy of admiring that of this beautiful lady ..!
He knew how to accept that God has the last word even on the verge of death.
"The will of God is not like playing treasure hunt ... in which God hides it and you try to discover where it is.
Our task is not to find the will of God.
It is God's job to reveal it, and ours is to be receptive and ready to capture it. "
The Bible reminds us that He will make us understand, and will teach us the way we should walk. (Psalm 32: 8)
Luke 22:42
saying: Father, if you want, pass this cup from me; but my will is not done, but yours.
Matthew 6:10
Your kingdom come. Your will be done, as in heaven, so also on earth.
Psalm 143: 10
¨ Teach me to do your will, because You are my God; Your good Spirit lead me on level ground.
Obedience to God is the most important thing we have in our daily walk, because by obeying we do his will.
