The wise and rich words of God bring health

Proverbs 16: 23-24 New International Version (NIV)
23 The wise man's heart makes his mouth prudent and adds grace to his lips. 24 Honeycomb are the soft sayings; Softness for the soul and bone medicine.
The biblical portions of this proverb reveal what divine wisdom has taught our hearts: the truths and promises that should be reflected in our conversation convey those teachings to our lips. The Word in our hearts must influence our behavior and our conversations. The "sweetness" and "medicine" that such words promote are desirable, either for our human relationships or for the reception of divine grace in our daily lives. They lead the believer to a victorious life, through the recognition of God's power and strength, both with our actions and with our lips.
