It is interesting to share with you all another message of personal and spiritual growth. This time we will talk about the regenerating power of the Word of God.

The Word of God imparts a new spiritual life where man, by nature, has died spiritually.
If we review 1 Peter 1:23 King James Version (NIV), we will find what the Lord says:

Reborn, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God that lives and remains forever.

Just as we owe our natural existence to the word of the Creator and to the breath of life that breathed in us, our new birth is also due to the Word of God and the activation of the power of the Holy Spirit. God's intention regarding our created being is fully fulfilled only when our spirits come alive in his presence. Just as sin has produced spiritual death (Ephesians 2: 1-3), salvation in Christ Jesus has provided spiritual life.
This verse from 1 Peter 1:23 tells us that the "seed" that has produced new life in us is the Word of God, which has made us born again by the power of the Holy Spirit (Tit 3: 5) and He too He made us members of God's new creation (2 Cor. 5:17). The power of the Word of God, the Holy Scriptures, manifests itself above all things in this: it gives spiritual life to all who receive its truth. James 1:18 refers to the fact that "the word of truth" is the means by which he gave us new life, emphasizing that he has done so, as an expression of his own will. God's will to save us (2 Peter 3: 9) has been effectively expressed in His word, which performs that work (Jn 1:13).
