I bless you in the name of Jesus.
In life there are people in whose heart, unfortunately, there is a constant envy and jealousy for the achievements and prosperity that other people can have. All this is part of the meat's own desires. And if I ask you, dear friend:

Have you ever been envious of someone else's success? Maybe your neighbor just bought a new car or someone from your job received the promotion you aspired to. When such situations generate unexpected reactions within us, we may have a problem.

Envy provokes in us a strong emotion of displeasure at seeing the good fortune of another person, and can poison good relationships, ruin our testimony and prevent us from experiencing God's blessings. The Bible says that jealousy and envy are manifest works of the flesh (Galatians 5: 19-21).

Is it possible to take control of a jealous attitude? Yes! God wants your children to exercise dominion over these volatile emulations, so we will examine some specific actions you can take to win the victory.

1 Confess your jealousy.

This emotion always, and I insist, always, looks away from the Lord and focuses it on another person or object. This is, by definition, idolatry. Every time you pay more attention or assign more value to "something" above God, you are dangerously exposed to divine judgment. Repent of that sin immediately!

  1. Recognize that you disagree with God.

If the Lord decides to bring some specific blessing to the life of another person, that is his divine prerogative. You are declaring with your envy that you consider yourself worthy of the other person's blessing. Bring that disagreement honestly before the Lord and ask him to renew his mind with a godly perspective.

  1. Thank God for your work in that person's life.

He may not like this point, but when he praises God, even when he does not feel like doing so, he puts himself in the right position to receive his blessings, demonstrating that he fully trusts in his judgment.

  1. Ask God to put in your heart love for the other person.

There are many biblical passages in which anger and jealousy occur one after another. Don't let envy provoke malice and hate. Rather, learn to rejoice when others receive blessings, even when you think you are the one who should have received such blessings.

  1. Keep your exclusive focus on God.

Delight yourself in Him, knowing that He has promised to give you the desires of your heart (Psalm 37: 4). First, focus on what He has done for you and the promises he has made to you through His Word. Always remember that God is God, and that it is your right to bless each and everyone, exactly as He deems appropriate and convenient.
