MORE LIGHT

"This is the message we have heard from him, and we announce to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in him. If we say we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and we do not practice the truth.
(1 John 1: 5-6 RVR 1960)

Darkness is the absence of light, we are lost in it, we would not know what path to choose to find a way out, we could not look at who we have by our side to support us, we would ignore a beautiful landscape, and obviously it is impossible to see the wonderful destination that he's waiting for us.

Those of us who walk in light can no longer continue in the dark with the same sins, if it is true we fail God every day, but every day we have the opportunity to amend our error, repent and ask the Lord for forgiveness to cleanse us with his powerful blood

Some recognize their faults but others become accustomed to them, it is easier for them to approach the devil without remorse, than to approach God who will forgive and take away our sins.

¨But if we walk in light, as he is in light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. ¨ (1 John 1: 7-8 rvr 1960).

When we know God and put all his commandments into practice, we walk in light like Jesus, the burden is more bearable and it gives us the strength we need to resist the enemy and his temptations.

"However, I am writing a new commandment, which is true in him and in you, because the darkness is passing, and the true light is already shining."
