JESUS THE GREAT SERVER AND YOU?

Luke 22:27
Because, what is greater, who sits at the table, or who serves? Is not he who sits at the table? However, among you I am like the one who serves.

Through the book of Matthew, we are shown Jesus as the Messiah, but a Messiah who came to serve. Several things Jesus models us that we can apply in our life as far as service is concerned. The first thing is that Jesus did not seek and did not want to be recognized for his power to heal and cast out demons, but for his service.

Second, Jesus demonstrated that the true servant has power and authority. People think that being a servant is degrading you, and Jesus showed that the servant could heal and cast out demons. The server has authority, it has power. When you serve in the house of God, you have to know that your service gives you power. You do not need anything else, you do not need to be recognized to have authority. On one occasion, the Bible says, certain people tried to get some demons out, and they told them: We know Paul, Jesus, but we do not know who you are. In other words: You can come with the Theological Institute and your Doctorate in Divinity, and that does not give you authority. But, the one who is conscious of serving, that person has the authority to cast out demons and to heal. Never think that if you serve you have no power. Jesus proved the opposite: In serving, there is power.

That's why I always keep in mind, as God said to my heart:

"Darlenys: do not look for position or human appointments, because I am the one that gives you a name everywhere you go, and that is so true, to every place where the authority of God accompanies me, I do not need anything else, but to know that the eternal is my guide, he told me once, you, please me, and I will give kings for you, nations for your life, and if I have to remove, put, open, close, for you, so I will do to honor you because I honor the one who honors me "
My personal experience:
When I was immature, I would arrive somewhere, and sometimes people would do things to me, and I would get upset, and I wanted to defend myself in my own strength, but Jesus, my beloved, had to break that paradigm in me, and take me to the lowest level. , where there is no room for pride. I remember that he told me, you are a transformer of environments, and until you learn the lesson, I will not get you out of here.
After a while, I was transferred to another branch of that company, and when the environment arrived it was horrible, gossip, jealousy, immediately remember the words of Jesus, then, I arrived in the morning, cleaned that office, made coffee, served it, I helped my boss to do the projects, at lunchtime I talked about Jesus, what I had done in my life and what I could do in the lives of others, when I realized, God had given me that territory, was not named by man, had been set by God, that environment was another, and there were people who told me, because you do that? you do not see that people do not appreciate ... my answer was: I do not do it to people, I do it to myself, I do it to God, and if it brings reward, it was so incredible, that God promoted me in short time at a higher level.

In the third place, Jesus showed that the true servant does not seek the position, but rather the position looks for him. Jesus said that it was not for him to choose who sat on the right and on the left; that is the Father's turn, He is going to choose; and, if they wanted to be on the list of the chosen ones, they would come to her by serving. He was saying to them: I am the servant; The position that the Father is going to give me is because I am going to the cross.

One of the greatest temptations of Jesus was when Satan said to him: If you worship me, I give you all the kingdoms of this earth. For that to be a temptation, Jesus could not be the Lord of all kingdoms. Jesus had no authority over the kingdoms because Adam had given it to the enemy. At that time, Jesus had not yet taken authority; still the kingdoms were of the enemy. So, Jesus had two options: Adore him and obtain the kingdoms and not have to go through the cross, or be obedient and go through the cross to have the kingdom.

The temptation was difficult because they were the easy way out, and that of a server. And Jesus chose the exit to serve. He would not be instantly the King of everything; he would wait three and a half years, he would get in the middle of people, they would insult him, betray him, spit on him; but, if that was what the Father wanted him to do, if that was what had to happen to obtain the kingdom, it would happen. The server understands that he is not looking for promotion or position; the position is looking for you. You could ignore many processes in life, but you have to know that the servant has to take the cross, let them reproach him, but God is the one who will deliver the kingdom to you.

Fourth, Jesus showed that a servant does not seek glory for himself, but for the one who sent him. The one who serves does not seek credit for him, but for the one he serves. If you work for a boss, for someone who pays you, do not try to take the credit; be grateful Although the idea was you, let someone else take the applause; Even if the work was yours, let it be the one you serve who takes the applause. Jesus did not want the glory for him, but for the Father. Your moment will come; Your moment arrives.

Do not succumb to envy, thinking that who should receive the credit is you. The one who serves truly has no problem with another taking glory. When you live like that, God is in charge of promoting you.

JESUS IS MY CROWN!

I enjoyed this beautiful reflection @darlenys01, certainly the servant is a complementary word, related to his lord Jesus Christ and in subjection to the holy spirit, one who depends totally on God and who obviously does not seek glory for himself, but for the one who I send it
Today the world needs many servants, who are moved by the same love of our father and who are willing to serve. The Lord tells us in his word that if we want to serve him, first we follow him, then we do the things he did and that whatever we do is for God and not for men
Excellent message

Very titillating message Sister Darlenys01 we should always remember to give out our best as Christians, as in returns the Lord also serve us with deep love. Thanks for this inspirational message.

Thank you for this precious message dear apostol @darlenys01 because we have been called to serve as Christ was a servant of the world.

Dios le bendiga hermana, nuestros frutos hablaran por nosotros mismo.

Dios siempre esta dispuesto a levantarnos y ponernos en lo mas alto como sus fieles, pero debemos ser humildes para reconocer nuestros errores.

we were born to serve, just as Jesus did, that is our essence, sometimes we think that being humble is about material things, but today you have seen how much humility there is in your heart with concrete words of lived experiences. We love you @darlenys01, you are a person who builds lives.

This is a beautiful message my beloved @darlenys01, inspiring, who can follow the steps of Jesus? what teaching he left us, in serving the world, he himself served by noostros.
Blessed be Jesus forever!

Good reflection of a true servant, thank you for your teachings @darlenys01, it is an unavoidable commitment to humbly assume this great mission
God bless you

Sometimes we are so proud @darlenys01 that we believe that by serving we are less.

When we serve, it also brings benefits for our lives.
