PREACHING WITH ACTS
Being a Christian brings implications, one of them is to keep from doing certain things that go against the faith, sometimes, it lacks good perception to know which of them is doing harm.
An anecdote is told by a mother who took her six-year-old son to Mahatma Gandhi:
-I beg you, Mahatma, tell my son not to eat more sugar, he is diabetic, and he does not listen to me, risking his life. I'm sure you'll pay attention to it because you admire it a lot.

Gandhi, reflected a while and said: -I'm sorry ma'am, now I can not, bring your son in fifteen days.
Surprised, the woman thanked him, and did as she had said, fifteen days later she brought her son before him. Mahatma, stared at him, and said energetically, "Boy, stop eating sugar, you're hurting yourself. Grateful, the mother asked him: -Why did he have me bring him back after fifteen days to give him the advice ?.
-Because fifteen days ago I ate sugar. Flash, once he finished with the story, he took the Holy Book, the Bible.
Preaching Without Words
Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ. Be imitators of God, then, as beloved children. Brethren, be imitators of me, and look at those who behave according to the example you have of us. 1 Corinthians 11: 1; Ephesians 5: 1; Philippians 3: 17
Gandhi, did not dare to advise the child to stop eating sugar, if he was doing it. This speaks of the need, if faith is professed, that actions speak for themselves. Many speak and speak and their personal testimony leaves something to be desired. The Apostle Paul understood with clarity the meaning of being a Christian.
He was so sure of his behavior that he said, without false pride, imitator of Jesus Christ, with the meaning that believers could perfectly do what he did, and it was like imitating the Lord. Paul, had true arguments to ask the sons and daughters of God, not only to look at his behavior but also to all those who behaved in the same way. Much more effective is preaching without words, which is enough just to observe how the believer behaves.
God wants his children to be imitators of him, just as he is of Christ. For only then will we be obedient to his word.
