The innocence of a child is a very special characteristic that is pointed to a Christian in order to enter the kingdom of heaven. The Lord Jesus spoke of this to his disciples, like the Gospel of Matthew 18: 2-4.

And calling Jesus to a child, he placed him in their midst and said: Truly I say to you that if you do not become a child, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven. So, anyone who humbles himself like this child, that is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever receives in my name a child like this, receives me.

In Luke 18:17, Jesus expressed this same message about the spiritual importance of being innocent as a child when he said:

Truly, I tell you that he who does not receive the kingdom of God as a child will not enter it.

Matthew 18: 3 points out that the attributes that define a child are: confident, low, loving, oblivion. Ah, how much we would enjoy our life if we operate with those four virtues!

Children believe what they are told. There are those who say that children are naive, which means they believe in something as ridiculous as it seems.

However, children are not naive, but confident. Children are entrusted by nature, unless they have experienced something that teaches them otherwise.

One thing we all know about children is that they enjoy life. A child can literally enjoy anything. You can take a job in a game to enjoy doing it.

I remember when I asked my son to sweep the yard when he was eleven or twelve. He looked out and saw him dance with the broom to the rhythm of the music he heard through the headphones.

He told me inside: "Amazing! He turned the task of sweeping into fun. If he had to do it, he had to enjoy it." We must all have that attitude. We may not choose to dance with a broom, but we must choose an attitude of rejoicing before all the lines of life.
