HOW YOUR LIFE SINKS TO DEATH DUE TO SMALL ISSUES #1

In the book of Exodus 20:1-17 we read the ten commandments and regulations of God.
All we know that when you break one of the, it is termed to be having done a sin.

Many people fear to break any and will try to make his/her feet far from the ten commandments, but there other small not talked sins that lead to death, but people glorify them and say that it is not a sin.

In this first part we are going to talk about lie, deceiving, blagging.

. BRAGGING, LYING, DECEIVING

In the book of Exodus 20:16 it is written, "You must not testify falsely against your neighbor"
It really sounds and very understandable that none should speak evil and testify falsely a friend.

After realizing this now people turned and say that lying is not a sin only if you don't speak falsely a friend.
This makes them keep lying and think that they are not making a sin.

To understand this, let us first understand the difference between lying, deceiving and blagging.

. DECEIVING: According to the dictionary, the word deceiving means tricking some one by behaving in a dishonest way.
An other definition of deceiving is a deliberately cause (Someone) to believe something that is not true, especially for gains.

When you hear these definitions of deceiving, this justifies that it is done for a main purpose of making gains and profits.

. BRAGGING: In the dictionary it is written that bragging it is the talking of your achievements or possessions in a proud way that annoys other people.
It is also defined as excessively and boastful talk about one's achievements or possessions.

. LIE - LYING: This has very many definitions but one of them is to say something that you know that it is not true.

The common synonym between the three key words is that it is a talk or body sign done intentionally to make profits or pride.

Now days people have taken this jokes that you were not conscious.

• A person comes and lies you to make benefits and after he will say it was a joke.
• A person talks lies to you and after will say he didn't know it may hurt you.
• A person comes and deceives you for pride will say he thought you already know that he was joking.

Actually these kind of story telling kills spiritually slowly by slowly and a person will end up dying in his jokes of lying.
As you keep saying it's a joke, it tends to your death.

WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY ON LIES

There are very many Bible verses that show how God hates and gets annoyed with a lying mouths.

• According to the Bible history, it shows that lies telling came from the devil the serpent.
  GENESIS 3:4 "You will not certainly die the serpent told the woman(Eve)"

• LEVITICUS 19:11 "Do not steal, do not lie and do not deceive one another"

• PROVERBS 12:22 "The Lord detests lying lips, but delights in people who are trustworthy."

• PROVERBS 14:5 "An honest witness does not tell lies, but a false witness pours out lies."

• REVELATIONS 22:15 Outside are the dogs, who practice magic and arts, the sexually immoral, the murders, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood."

From Genesis to Revelation, the Bible talks how evil is lies telling but many Christians are a sleep and proud of doing such evil.

Lying is a big issue of many people concerning Christians.
"Thou shall not lie" is one of the ten commandments, but even Christians have trouble with this commandment."

Avoid telling lies to prosper in the eyes of God.
