Jeremiah 10:24; O Lord, correct me, but with justice, not in your anger, let you bring me to nothing

The Bible makes us understand that even our good deeds are like filthy rags in the sight of God, however through our faith by confession of sins and the acceptance of his Son Jesus Christ who came to die for us on the Cross whiles we were yet sinners we have been made righteous and can be could sons and daughters of the most high as we have been made heirs to the throne, we should thus boldly enter into the Throne of Grace that our petitions and supplications may be heeded.

No man can stand when God is Angry for it would be like water which is vaporized in the presence of high temperatures, thus we should avoid provoking God to anger. We do know that is it sin which draws us away from God and that is it that which makes God angry, which why even though Israel being God's beloved people were chastened when they sinned. 21st Century Christians abuse the grace that we have received through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ our Lord and continue to sin because they believe Grace abounds and that God will always forgive, however we should know that this could provoke God and could result in our demise. Lets strive to avoid provoking God, lets strive to live a holy and righteous life worthy of emulation that others may see the goodness in us and be drawn to Christ.
