Steemit should prepare to ditch the SBD and switch to Steem backed Gold (SBG).
The US Dollar looks primed for collapse. Rothschild & other bankers have already started offloading it. SBD could soon become a major liability.
Better make contingency plans now by preparing a Steem backed Gold asset to be rolled in as soon as the Dollar starts hyperinflating. I hope this can be done seamlessly with an hard-fork.
Golos already uses Gold instead of the Dollar and I think it is a smart choice long term.

I don't really understand the need for two coins anyway. Why can't all payouts just be in Steem? You can still trade it like any coin, and it's more useful than SBD...
