The surprise of the tournament is definitely Russia here. They don't have a complete squad, but they still seem to destroy anyone that stands in their way. Today they are facing a much stronger opponent, than the previous 2. Uruguay has won both games against Egypt and the Saudi's but hasn't really shown much. Today we might see a more calm game when it comes to goal scoring, but I still believe that the goal line has been set too high.

URUGUAY:

Their defense seems solid, but I'm a bit disappointed in their offense, they have done just enough to get that 3 points in every game, which could backfire against Russia today, which have proven to play a hard attacking game. I do think Uruguay will score today, but if they don't step up their game they don't have a lot of chance of winning. We will see how they respond to high pressures as I don't think they have faced a serious threat on this tournament yet.

RUSSIA:

They really showed up for this tournament after most of the people, including me, have not seen them getting anywhere far. But here they are playing for the first place in the group. Well done. Again today they will face a much better striking team that they faced in the previous 2 matches. I expect them to score at least one or two here and they do have a better chance to win here since they are a home team.

PICK: OVER 2 GOALS (PINNACLE SPORTS - ODD: @1.79/-126)

I do see the goal line a bit higher than 2.0 goals since Russia will probably at least cover the 2 goal line by themselves here. But I do expect this one to end around 2-1 for Russia. Both teams have good attacks and I would say semi-good defenses, but I doubt that this is a 0-0, 1-0 game. So take the over 2 if you want a safe bet ad they 2.5 goals if you wanna risk a little a bit more.
