Argentina is really blowing it this year...drawing against Iceland and losing 3-0 against Croatia. Today is D-day for them. They have to crush Nigeria in order to qualify, of course, it all depends on how Iceland plays Croatia, but they can still help themselves if they win big here.

NIGERIA:

A team that's playing hot and cold, you never know who's gonna show up for the game. After beating Iceland, they might still have a chance of qualifying if they shock Argentina here. I do expect them to try attacking from the beginning so in my opinion there will be a lot of room for both teams to score here. If they get a goal, I expect them to throw everything they have at Argentina.

ARGENTINA:

Like I mentioned a big disappointment this year. Messi can't even see his own shadow, that's how many defenders are following here. While other teammates aren't really doing anything. I do expect them to win here, by how much no one knows, but they will attack more, because they need those 3 points, badly.

Even though the od for the line has fallen a bit, I still see this one to be the safest and reliable pic today. This game is basically a knock-out game, whoever wins here, advances to the second round. If the score is a draw, Nigeria qualifies. I expect crazy pressure from Argentina and when they score, I do expect Nigeria to try strike back. There will be a lot of room for counter-attacks, so I would be very surprised if this game stays under 3 goals. Teams have a lot to lose here, but there is no point in playing a tactical game when one of the team scores than we'll be off to the races.
