I like surprises and as far as giving away free things its an investment to grow. I did it with my YouTube channel and it created a snowball effect of constant growth.
I think it is more with the fact that DTube is starting to build.. I remember the alternative to Youtube takes some time... Just keep showing these great contents and people will follow...

Good video. Steemit and dtube has a learning curve. It's taking time but worth it.
Yes it does! I need to start making some tutorial videos of the things I figured out already.
I think that would be a great idea, so many new people are here but we are uncertain about how it all works and having HOW-TO videos or BEST STRATEGY etc would encourage more people to Use Steem instead of looking and leaving, like I did the first few times! 👍🏼

I caught that Boxmining live interview with Charles yesterday - it's 3+ hours but I recommend people watch it. He counters the Cardano = vaporware argument extremely well and conservatively tears EOS a new one. Picks apart the flaws in most platforms (to explain the true complexities and why Cardano is taking so long) - the guy is all integrity. Really curious what he'll have to say about NEO (he hadn't researched it enough to comment yesterday but is about to). Anyway, thanks Kris - I'll check-out HPB.
