Would it be possible to use 100% of the brain?

celebro.jpgHi steemit people, the truth is that we use only 100% of the 100%. this is as simple as talking to the colleague next door can activate all areas of the brain. But only part of the potential of each one. If all areas worked at full power, and at the same time, we would have a much greater capacity to digest information, sensations and thoughts.

It's like a computer: using all its resources, the brain would have much more processing power. We would not gain superpowers. But breaking codes, drawing conclusions and analyzing situations would be much easier tasks. As there is no record of a man who lived with this supermachine in his head, the closest reference is the gifted, who have greater reasoning ability. "They relate information and form connections more easily," says psychologist Cristiane Cruz, former president of Mensa Brasil, an association that seeks to bring together the 2% smartest in the country. In other words, we would all be gifted - and even more powerful.

Still, no one would be good at absolutely everything. Some would have facility for music, others for physics. “Even smarter, we would continue to be different from each other since birth, because each one's genes interfere in intelligence,” says Ailton Amélio, professor of psychology at USP. There is something, however, that would be common to everyone: our brain would get tired of so much work. And, just like a computer, it would crash from time to time, leaving us with a beautiful headache.

I can not remember it

Stimulated areas of the brain use 1% more energy than resting areas. This extra work would result in mental fatigue. And the brain would crash at times, giving us headaches and whites in memory.

Wings to imagination

Creativity would run wild and no one would be stuck in an area. We would be like Albert Einstein: he painted pictures, studied the body and invented contraptions. Innovation would go faster.

Bipolar

The size of certain areas of the brain is linked to personality lines. To intensify their activity would be to exacerbate these traits. Shy wouldn't even leave the house. Extroverts would be clowns.

Reason and insensitivity

We would use logic to calculate all the consequences of our actions. And the consequences of the consequences. A survey of gifted people showed that 87.5% of participants were perfectionists. Like them, we would suffer always looking for the best choice.

Multitasking

Concentrating on one thing would be difficult. We would always be connected, changing from one activity to another. This is what happens with the gifted - 76% of them were hyperactive in a Brazilian study, while in the population this share is only 5%.
