My first San Juan celebration - Mi primera San Juan

I have never been a big fan of fireworks and neither is my son.... we had up until now quite happily passed on the famous San Juan celebration where the whole of Spain suddenly lights up with fireworks and fills with big booms!

This year we got invited by a great group of parents from school and decided to dive into this celebration.
We had the best time ever! Everything is always super easy with this group of people and we just went with the flow.... 4 hours of non-stop lighting up fireworks and crackers.

The atmosphere was just happy and filled with good vibes at the beach. You could see blooms of colours sprouting from everywhere in the sky, like in a dream.

Nunca me han gustado mucho los petardos y a mi hijo tampoco. Hasta este año conseguimos evitar las celebraciones de San Juan en la playa de Barcelona, y nos iba muy bien así...

Este año nos invitaron unos súper padres del grupo del cole y decidimos lanzarnos al agua.
La fiesta fue espectacular! Todo fluye tanto con este grupo de personas que todo se hace muy fácil. No nos dimos ni cuenta que estuvimos 4 horas sin parar tirando petardos y cohetes!!

Había muy buen rollo en la playa y todo el cielo de Barcelona estaba iluminado de mil colores de todos los fuegos artificiales de todos los grupos de amigos y familias juntándose con las estrellas.
