Reading this post I just wondering: is there any global standards for insanity, considering the different and diverse cultures all around the world?
If I am not mistaken, Michel Foucault in his "Madness and Civilization" said that the concept of madness or insanity is relatively new...

Yeah it pretty much just varies from culture to culture. Tons of diversity out there.
I'd say there is a standard, and it would probably be our more modern cultures stand points. Thanks for your comment!
