7 years 7 seas - Our way so far
This map shows our sailing so far. Beginning of June 2017 we started in Travemünde/Germany. After sailing the Baltic sea for two months we headed south and arrived end of October in A Coruña, where we still are. These were 2.500 nautical miles (or bit more than 4.600 km) in 5 months.
As soon as it is getting warmer and we are having wind with the right force from the right direction we will continue south along the coast of the iberian peninsula.
that is an amazing journey! Did you sail through Hamburg? that must have been an interesting sail. Also you are headed very close to my dream destination - the Azores Islands of Portugal.

No, not through Hamburg. From Kiel the Kiel canal to Brunsbüttel and then Cuxhaven. In case that we will once be on the other side of the Atlantic and than sail back to Europe we will visit Azores. But it's not on our plan for 2018.

How is it wintering there in Northern Spain? Cant wait to see pics of the Baltic et al!
November and December were quite nice, temparature at around 16 Celsius (60 Fahrenheit) and mostly sunny. Januar and February are a bit colder and some rain. But I hope soon we will have nice weather to continue our journey. Why are you interested in Baltic sea? You want to sail there? Great place for sailing.
Sounds reasonable. In to the med for the summer? I guess Im interested in the Baltic because it is so far away and I hear so little about it! Fair winds!
Current plan is along the portuguese coast then to visit Maroccco, from there to canary Islands, cape verde Islands, maybe Gambia/Senegal and end of 2018 to the Caribbean. But plans are changing very often.
That sounds even better! You might look up the (now celebrity) Delos Sailing of YouTube fame. On Facebook they have been talk alot about their time up the South American coast from Rio. their videos from there are 6 months off or so as that end lags. but on FB they stay current.
