The sloop is planked with 1 1/8” African Mahogany carvel planking, tight seam ( no corking is used ). The frames are steam bent white oak. The keel consists of 8000 Lbs cast iron. | Sail Area: Main sail 44.2 m2, Jib 22,6 m2, Genoa 38,6 m2 and a generous size 93 m2 Spinnaker. |
Dear reader, the restoration will cost a lot of Time, Love, Care and money too. But I think in the end it will be very statisfying. After sanding the underwater ship, a quick survey learned that at least 15% needs replanking. So please follow me on this journey, your upvotes and comments along the way will be most appreciated and encouraging. I promise I will do my best to keep you updated with postings, starting first with the history of the yacht. I hope you will enjoy it!
A worthy project!
Thank you!
