So today I was having a friendly discussion with my sister when we got talking about poems and stories Then she showed me a beautiful piece she wrote on the theme "war". So with her approval I am going to be posting her beautiful write-up this lovely Nigerian evening.

So the sound of the alarm had suddenly turned to a thing of the past, replaced by this new technology called the sound of gunshots and bombs. It's unfortunate how they make people sleep rather than wake them up, I guess it's one of those ironies of life.

I see the flies buzz, they've evolved to love a new kind of diet, bountiful at such a time. Something disgusting by nature became the most irritating sight.the evolution continues and they seem to be the victors. The Lord of the flies become kings in the battle of human pawns.

I love the farm, I know everybody does. A factory for all natural sustainence turned into a mass graveyard for the innocent. Pleaged to one course they might stand but harmless to execute it. Unfortunately they are called casualties when the deed is done .

Civilization tends to disappear, the natural survival instinct take over, and people take to the jungle to escape the senselessness leaving the streets and cities haven to the monsters.

Scarcity erupts and lack sits in. Starvation and hunger thrives but the perpetrators bask in bountiful resource never to be shared with the lot.

The call for peace brings hope but the damage is done. The people return with a grudge they can't be cleared by an apology. It's a scar in history and a pain in the minds of the mass.
