Dear Friends,
Last night was extreme. The "ground invasion" in Gaza has resulted in dozens of disabled, destroyed, bloody, trembling, dying - wounded Palestinians, all ages, all civilians, all innocent people.
Heroes in ambulances and across Gaza hospitals work on 12-24 shifts, pale faces from exhaustion and inhumane workloads (without payment at Shifa hospital for the last 4 months), they care for, treat, try to understanding the incomprehensible mess of human body pieces, limbs, walking, walking, breathing, and not breathing, bloody, and non-bloody. Yes, HUMAN!
Now, they are treated like animals by "the most moral army in the world" ["Israel"].
My endless respects to the wounded, in the midst of pain, pain and shock; My admiration for these staff and volunteers is endless, my closeness to the brave Palestinians gives me strength, though at a glance I want to scream, hold someone tight, cry, kiss the skin and bloody boy's hair, protect myself we were in an endless arms - but we could not afford it, neither did they.
Pallid faces - Oh NO! Not only dozens of flawed and bleeding bodies, we still have a blood lake on the ER floor, dripping everywhere, blood-stained bandages to clean up - oh janitor, everywhere, swiftly shoveling blood and dumping tissues, hair, clothes, Kanula - the rest of the dead - everything has been cleansed ... prepared again, repeated all over again. More than 100 cases have come to Shifa hospital in the last 24 hours. Adequate for a large hospital trained with everything, but here - almost nothing: no electricity, water, drugs, OR tables, instruments, monitors - all rusted and as if just taken from the museum. But these heroes, they do not complain. They perform their duties, like warriors, move on, with extraordinary alertness.
And when I write this letter to you, alone, in bed, my tears flowing, tears of pain and sadness, anger and fear. This is impossible!
And now, the orchestra of the "Israeli" war machine starts again singing its dreadful symphony. Recently, the artillery salvos from the "Israeli" naval vessel down the coast of Gaza, the roaring F16, the sickening drones, and the noisy Apache fighter, made and funded by the United States.
Obama - do you have a heart?
I invite you to spend one night, just one night, with us at Shifa hospital. Perhaps you can impersonate a janitor.
I'm sure, 100%, it will change history.
None of them has the heart and strength that can pass one night at Shifa without being determined to end the massacre of the Palestinian people.
But the heartless and merciless people have done their tally and are planning another attack on Gaza.
