BIBLIO - the Sabbath Day

Remember the Sabbath Day by Keeping It Holy

The Sabbath - Saturday or Sunday, Christian or Jew or 'Gentile', there is wisdom in taking a day of rest, one day in seven, to find Peace with yourself, your family and friends, and your God.

Choices

We can reverence God on the Sabbath with our time and our attention,

or we can worship man made Idols, like Hollywood, Movie, Music and Sports Idols with our time and our attention and our money.

We can worship in Synagogues or Chapels

or we can worship in Shopping Malls, Concerts and Sports Arenas.

The Choice is Ours

We are Free to Choice which path we follow. Just know that not all paths lead to the same destination.

The path we follow decides our destination.

Keep the Sabbath

13 “If because of the sabbath, you turn your foot

From doing your own pleasure on My holy day,

And call the sabbath a delight, the holy day of the Lord honorable,

And honor it, desisting from your own ways,

From seeking your own pleasure

And speaking your own word,

14 Then you will take delight in the Lord,

And I will make you ride on the heights of the earth;

And I will feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father,

For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”

Historically when the children of God lost interest in keeping the Sabbath Day Holy, things did not go well for them.

I find my day, my life, and my relationships with myself and my family and friends go better when I take a day off each week to remember and give Thanks to God. It is time well spent for me to focus again on Him and for me to do His Will.
